Reagan yelled for me the other day. He said, “The DVD’s not working!” I asked him what was wrong. “It’s itching,” he replied. A moment or two passed where I was trying to figure out what he meant, so he elaborated. “It must have a scratch on it,” he said.
Elly reached for someone for the first time yesterday. I don’t want to name names, but it was one of her parents whose name rhymes with Zandon.
When a baby poops, make sure that said baby has finished his/her journey to the poopy kingdom before you propose a treaty.
Elly has begun sleeping on her tummy for short periods. Both she and her parents have given this milestone favorable reviews.
Someone asked me the other day is it normal for parents to talk about how cute their own kids are. I said that it is when their kids really are that cute =).
When I changed jobs about a year ago, Reagan differentiated between my ‘new work’ and my ‘old work’. He still asks me, “Are you going to my ‘new work’?” every morning. Right after that he asks, “Can I watch Nick Jr. while you do that?”
There are days that I come home from work and Reagan runs at me with his arms open wide yelling, “Daddy!” God has truly blessed me.
He TRULY truly has…definitely blessed!
