Hey everyone. Sorry there haven’t been any posts recently. With Christmas, New Year, and baby Elly only a week away, things have been so crazy.
Here’s a quick rundown of the holidays. On Christmas Eve, I developed shingles, which if you didn’t know is when you get Chicken Pox again as an adult. There’s a lot of difference between the two, but they’re both caused by the same virus. Very painful to touch and they itch a lot. Not a good combo. But, it was still a wonderful holiday, and it was great to spend it with my family and my wife’s family. My family wasn’t able to come up.
New Year’s came fast, with me and Dessa trying to get everything ready for Elly. Turns out we can’t get moved into our three bedroom apartment on time, so we’re gutting our two bedroom to make room. We’d already given away the kitchen table, but we sent our end tables and coffee table packing and are going to do the same to the desk.
We’ve decided to have Elly at Baptist, which is where our secondary insurance will cover the most. We’ve heard great things about both, so why not pick the cheapest. We went to tour the facility on Saturday and it is very nice. They just spent $16 million upgrading it.
On Friday before this, which turned out very favorable. Then today we had our email servers motherboard crash and I was there until 7pm.
In all of that, I just want to say thank you to Jesus for making my life truly wonderful. He is great. He has blessed me beyond all that I could ever imagine. I have a wonderful and beautiful wife, a cute and smart little boy, a soon to be sweet little girl, and everything else that I need.
God Bless,
Brandon
