Music

Mozart, Beethoven, and Friends

I can’t listen to regular songs while I work. Because I can’t really focus on the words and still think about what I’m doing, it all seems to blend into static. However, I quite enjoy listening to some great classical music. It’s so relaxing to let the symphony music just wash over you while you think. Plus, there are tons of free music out there for the classical buff. If you’re interested, check out Classic Cat for lots of links to free sources.

As a tangent, I’m not an expert on classical music by any means, but I like many of Beethoven’s pieces because they seem more “in your face” than a lot of other pieces I’ve found. I bet very few people describe classical music as “in your face”, but that’s how it’s strikes me. Symphony No. 5 is a great example.
