My friend Tammy pointed out today that she’s been seeing the My Bad post for far too long, and she is absolutely right. Historically, I am horrible at keeping any kind of diary. The last couple of weeks have been very full, and it started with my niece and nephew, Lyndsey and Jaydan, coming to stay with us for a few days. They came up on Thursday and stayed until Sunday, which was wonderful because they were able to go to church with me twice because of the Campmeeting.
Reagan had a blast with them visiting, but I’m not sure if I can say the same for them. Just kidding on that. They had fun too, but I think it got to them that any time they left his room, he would run after them saying, “You wanna come in my room?” He calls them Shinzey and Shaydan.
This Sunday Morning was pretty cool as well. First, my Sunday School class was on Repentance. We’re doing a Steps to Salvation series for the next few weeks. To illustrate the change aspect of repentance, we had a dress up race, boys against girls, and the boys won. Their prize was candy bars. The rest of the class went really well, and they seemed to get into the whole idea. Unfortunately, I ran out of time, so I’ll need to pick up where I left off next week.
Continuing on the Dress up theme, today was also Western Day at church. The Sunday School theme this quarter is a Western theme, and today there were competitions to see who was the best dressed. That is, best dressed if you’re going to be in a Western movie
There’s a video below that simply speaks for itself.
